FAQ

How do I send my photo?

During the ordering process you can upload your photo directly to our server, or if you would prefer you can email or post us your photo along with details of any special requirements, such as cropping, retouching and red-eye removal. You will then receive a confirmation email once we have received your image and checked that it is suitable for printing.

Our printing specifications and process?

Our Printing
We offer both prints on Canvas and self adhesive wallpaper. The maximum size is determined by our printer which is a state of the art Canon IPF 12 colour 44” printer using Lucia EX2 wide gamut pigment inks. Both Canvas Photos and Fine Art papers can be printed up to 1m wide/high by up to 18 metres. If you wish to have a framed canvas longer than 3 metres then please contact us to discuss the feasibility of your requirements.

Coating
Since there is no glass to protect the canvas print when stretched over a frame, we protect the print with two layers of UV stabilising and scratch resistant coating. This not only improves the handling of the print but also increases the fade resistance, which is already many decades because of the 100% cotton used for the print. The light fastness of the coating is rated at more than 75 years.

Stretching the Canvas
After the artwork is printed it is fixed to a wooden frame (stretched). Unless otherwise specified, a gallery style is used and the print is wrapped around the frame. No additional framing is required as it will arrive to you ready  to hang.

Packaging
Last but not least we take the utmost care when preparing the print for delivery. The print  is wrapped in bubble wrap along with protective cardboard to keep it safe during transport.

How long does it take?

Canvas printing and framing takes 2 to 3 days and then please allow up to a week for courier delivery around Australia depending on your location. The average turnaround time for a canvas photo is 5 – 10 working days for orders within Australia. International Orders will be shipped within 4 working days and delivery will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks depending on the destination.

What type and size of files can be used?

Images from your camera may be uploaded to your computer and sent to us via uploading directly to the site or via email.Otherwise you can burn your images onto a disk and post it to us.

Each image is different and as a rough guide, for a canvas print the file size of your photo file should be a minimum of 200Kb, for a wallpaper it should be several megabytes. The size of your file may impact on the size of the canvas or wall it can be printed on to. For best photography results please make sure that your camera is set to use one of its highest quality settings. If you are unsure please email us your image for advice on the size it can be printed.

Images should be in JPG, TIFF, PDF, or PSD format.

What payment methods are available?

What are the different wrap styles?

You have 3 different options of wrap styles for your canvas as follows:

  • Gallery – The edges of the photo are wrapped around the sides of the frame.
  • Mirrored – The edges of the photo are mirrored to wrap around the sides of the frame.
